The power of art will engage and inspire

Wildfire Workshops brings out their best

Participation in a Wildfire art workshop will allow any child to articulate their vision and develop an informed perception of the task at hand.  As well, these art workshops will help to strengthen critical thinking skills with emphasis on creative problem solving and experimentation – skills that add to overall academic achievement and school success*.

A Wildfire Workshop can help a child build self-confidence, self-discipline and develop the ability to imagine what might be

Involvement in art helps to develop a sense of craftsmanship, quality task performance and goal setting.  What’s more, these art workshops help nurture important values – including accepting responsibility to complete tasks from start to finish, team-building, respecting another’s viewpoint, appreciating and being aware of different cultures and traditions. These are skills that will help a child to
succeed in the classroom – and beyond.

Myke’s Workshops may impart lifelong skills, but it’s all about having fun!

Myke has developed these workshops so that not only will the participants learn – they’ll have fun while doing so.  After all, art is about taking pleasure in the creative process and coming away with something to show off and be proud of.
